With the new BMW Individual 7 Series THE NEXT 100 YEARS, the German auto maker emphasises on its special attention to detail and importance of design. For this new jubilee edition model the carmaker has partnered with one of the most popular manufacturer of luxury writing instruments and fellow German brand - Montblanc. It has been revealed that each of these exclusive models will be delivered to its worthy customers with a special fountain pen from Montblanc, which has been specially designed for this jubilee edition and will also be limited to a series of 100.
Coming to the car itself, the new BMW Individual 7 Series THE NEXT 100 YEARS will be available in three engine options, each with their ridiculously long name. Just to let you know how ridiculous, the range-topping model is named - BMW Individual M760Li xDrive model V12 Excellence THE NEXT 100 YEARS, no we are not kidding. Nevertheless, the car in all other aspects is as awe-inspiring as it can get.
While the exteriors profile is remains similar to the standard Individual 7 Series, each of these super-fancy models come with 'Next 100 Years' badging along with a small engraving on the blackened B-Pillar. The same badging can be seen inside the logo as well along with BMW Individual badging on the centre console, dashboard and there's also a "1 of 100" badge just in front of the shifter. The car comes with Merino Smoke White full leather upholstery along with Next 100 Years logo on the head rest.
Under the hood, as mentioned earlier the car will be available in three engine options. The top-of-the-line M760Li xDrive Sedan Model V12 Excellence is a 602bhp 6.6-litre turbocharged V12 engine. You also get the option of a smaller 4.4-litre and 444bhp 750Li with xDrive along with the hybrid version 740Le iPerformance motor that has a cumulative peak power of 322bhp. BMW is expected to start the deliveries of the car by year end, but will one of these car find its home in India? Well, we can only wait and see.
